So, I am still down here in the sunny San Diego area!
Back home the trees have turned amber and gold while the
temperatures at night remain in the 20s and 30s!
As for me, I am in the Jacuzzi, sauna, and pool every day.
Since I used to live here, I also have a built in social network
which is quite fun.
The good news is that I am greatly improved.
I am training my pal’s cat in my spare time (if you read the blog
you have been reading about this) and the neighbor’s dogs don’t
jump on me or on anyone else anymore!
November is my favorite month because of the fall weather and
the only holiday that is one of thanks instead of giving.
I hope you will remember all that you are thankful for.
Me, I am thankful that you are a subscriber and that I will be
back to a full active life after such a long recovery process.

2. Discussion for the Month
===============================================
My email service seemed to have a glitch and I heard that
some of you got last month’s newsletter a few days ago.
I apologize for that and sent a letter into customer support.
Hopefully they will sort all of this out and I won’t have to
change services.
In other news…this month I am also working on a new book in
conjunction with the NaNoWriMo contest that happens annually.
Basically people from around the globe commit to writing on
their novel each and every day in the National Novel Writing
Month project.
My next book project is a collection of stories and
illustrations about how myths about animals get in the way of better
behavior and happier, healthier pets.
At the moment it is pretty raw. Most books take about two years
to get into print through traditional publishing houses. I am
hoping this one is an exception to that rule.
My intention is to complete it this month along with everyone
else who is working diligently to complete their goals.
Only time will tell but I love nestling in for the fall to
write.
I’ll keep you posted but wonder what project you might take on
this month?
How about considering picking a charity to support for the
holiday season?
Ponder that and I’ll share options with you in the future.
