Another chimp attack was in the news this week. Brent Hudson and his wife, Cherace Hudson along with their friend Mary Overton were each charged with 17 misdemeanor counts of animal abuse and neglect.
The trio was operating as a commercial breeder without a license and were charged with improper disposal of dead animals, and keeping wild animals without proper registration.

Over the weekend I was alerted to some stunning nature photography.
There is currently an exhibition at the Smithsonian (check out 2008 and 2007 winners) but you can also enter some other photography contests and view past winners and some of their work at Nature’s Best.
