In other news…

If you have read this blog enough you know that I keep hitting a few points over and over again. One of those is that wild animals should not be fed (read habituated) to humans. Case in point, here is a story from Alaska about a moose that had to be destroyed because of habituation to humans.

Military pets are abandoned or relinquished and it is a big problem. I wrote about this on my media only blog last year. Take a look at this article, perhaps the solution is to only have those families foster pets. It is tragic and has been a growing problem.
