Author and animal expert, Diana L. Guerrero joined other authors, politicians, and bibliophiles at the 3rd Annual West Hollywood Book Fair in California. The eclectic "Passion of the Spirit" panel attracted crowds until there was standing room only. All panelist signed at the Bodhi Tree Booth immediately following.

West Hollywood, CAThe West Hollywood Book Fair was founded by the City of West Hollywood to encourage reading, writing, and literacy. It is a creative, diverse event that also serves to build community by connecting individuals with businesses, libraries, schools, literary organizations and people.

The third annual West Hollywood Book Fair delivered an eclectic
and lively mix of authors, panels with special events for all ages. In addition to more than 170 authors and celebrities, costumed literary characters roamed the fair.

Panelists Diana L. Guerrero, Asma Gull Hasan, Jonathan Kirsch, and Fred Miller and moderator Rabbi Lisa Edwards appeared in the Earthly Delights & Beyond Pavillion. "The Passion of the Spirit: Writing About Religion & Spirituality" was a lively discussion that attracted a large crowd. The authors then ambled over for a signing at the Bodhi Tree booth.

Guerrero said, "This was one of the most enjoyable events of the last year. I'd have to rank it as one of my top two appearances--it was fun, stimulating, and very well orchestrated."

Corey Roskin spearheaded the event that began with an author reception and moved quickly into a full day of fun. The event has grown so large that it may need to move to another location to accommodate the crowds and attendees.

An estimated 10,000 people attended the day long event.
