Guerrero's Animal School Curriculum & Rainforest Adventures

Diana Guerrero has been selected as Comparative Animal Science Instructor and safari tour guide for the American Preparatory Academy.

Located in Southern California, this progressive home school academy offers a wide variety of curriculum but is most excited about the new programming in the science department.

"There is nothing like this offered anywhere. We are excited at the possibilities and hope to eventually offer the curriculum nationally," says school founder Andrea McCormick. McCormick was the director of an International School in Rancho Cucamonga before starting her own academy in 2002.

According to Guerrero, "Andrea heard of my other programs and thought that the comparative animal science program would be essential to giving her high school students a unique experience and education."

The group studied local animals and compared them to the animals of the rainforest. Guerrero will be taking a group on a field trip to Costa Rica in 2004. The Costa Rican Safari trip is open to all interested parties and departs from locations around the United States.
